switched with lower quality
My wife got this pot as an extra pot for our existing emerilware set. My mom bought it off of her wishlist.

The pot's design and quality do not compare at all to the other pots and pans. Our original set included a 3 qt and it is such a useful size we wanted another one.

This new one does not have the additional grip, even though it shows it in the picture. It doesn't actually need the grip because they reduced the weight so much (not a good thing). They reduced the weight by making the bottom of the pan thinner and by shaving weight off of the handle. The new handle looks a lot like the other handles, but is no where near as comfortable in your hand.

The older, better design cost the same as this one, so it is a real rip off.

stained stainless
After using this pan for less than 2 months, the inside of the pain became dark and blotched. I have not been able to remove these stains.

Great little sauce pan
This is a great size pan for heating up small items, like one can of vegetables. I like my stainless pans to be heavy and not thin and this pan is what I like. The lid fits great and I like the glass so that I can see when it is boiling.
